DECEMBER 2003 - ADDING TO OUR FARM LIFE

2023 Ended on a happy, excited note!

Olga gave birth to another set of twins, this time she had a little female kid and one male kid. Aeries has proven to be very patient with the kids, letting them jump onto his back like little trapeze artists.

Leo, our kitten, found us and quite happily stayed in the tractor for the first four weeks, until we promoted him to Mice Guard and is on day and night duty in the ruin.

Lua has been growing at a rapid pace and now is getting way to big for my chair that she has claimed.

All in all, farm life is great. Looking back on the very hot summer of this past year, we are setting little goals to help us move forward. We definitely need a little splash pool or pond of some sort, feed for the livestock during the hot summer months and we need to continue with our cob build. This year, having the front door has made a huge difference as it never rained in. However, we do not have flooring yet and with 3 dogs inside, it tends to get muddy and miserable when it rains. We have big plans for 2024!!
